Ephesians 4: 2-4
‘Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit-just as you were called to one hope when you were called.’
As I prayed earlier this afternoon I felt drawn to this scripture, which feels in step with some of the prayers in our evening zoom prayer time. Calling for us to remain united in the church…So it seemed appropriate to share with you.
I feel a challenge for us all in this period of vacancy at church to come together and remain in unity within the church body. Whether we are directly involved in the process or not, we have a shared responsibility to remain united in our church body, guided by the Holy Spirit. Always remembering the shared hope we all have in Jesus.
