Scout out possible U3A field meeting to view the chalk from Beachy Head to Holywell.
Itinerary
Walked from Helen Gardens at Holywell to Cow Gap and then along the beach at low tide to the Beachy Head lighthouse (45 mins).
Followed the foot of the cliffs back to Gun Gardens, investigating falls, photographing features, and noting points from Rory’s GA guide 1 hr 45 mins).
Returned to Helen Gardens by same route (45 mins).
